  1. I cant open My DV avi that I made in Premiere in either tmpgenc or Vdub - Any suggestions?

    does it play properly in windows media player? if so, try this:

    you might try bumping the priority of the directshow engine in tmpgenc.
    in tmpg..goto options...environments settings....rightmost tab (vfapi)...locate directshow and bump it to +1 (right click and click higher priority).

    if all else fails, a vfw dv codec can be found at mainconcept
