  1. got a couple of svcd movies from a friend that works fine on the dvd player. im trying to burn me a copy using the same brand of disks. im copying the disk to the hard drive than using nero to pull the mpeg file to make a new svcd. The copy works great on the computer but I cant get it to work on the dvd its realy broken up. Anyone know a better way to copy the disk??? this is the closest ive got to getting it to work just seems that im missing something. thanks for any help

  2. Nero is no good for multitrack images like SVCD usually is. ISO is also not very good (or crap I should say). get yourself a copy of CDRWIN and create a bin/cue from the original and then burn the bin/cue like you normally would. should be exactly what your friend has.

  4. Clone CD will "clone" disks, so u have an exact image(except some encoded games)

    Adaptec also works, "cd copy"

If all else fails - try burning a Nero Image to disk (.nrg file) from within Nero - use the CD copy option and select to keep image file - then use Nero to burn this directly to the new CDR.

I've used this before and it works fine for all formats (I've tried SVCD,VCD,ISO etc - haven't tried DVD..)
