  1. My audio doesn't match up with the video when I make a movie with Ulead DVD Factory. I even installed the patch that was supposed to fix this. Is there better software I could use? Maybe MGI VideoWave or something?

    I am using an ATI AIW 7500. I'm trying to produce the best looking videos I can so I can burn them to DVD.

    Any help is appreciated.

  3. I had the same problem the other night with DVD Factory. If you encode the files yourself to be dvd compliant, it will work fine. Ulead screws it up when they encode nocompliant files for you.
    mmm....unexplained bacon...

    Our extended forecast calls for flurries of passion followed by extended periods of gettin it on.

  4. Capture your video with Ulead DVD moviefactory in real-time Mpeg-2. Uninstall the buggy MMC, and use Ulead for your captures via the ATI card. This works fine, and there will be no problem with audio sync. You can even trim the mpeg-2 file without problems in Ulead. You might run into problems if you cannot remove all the ATI crap...

  6. Just remove MMC like you normally would, and try to capture with Ulead. If you have any problems, reinstall Ulead. Hey, you can even try to capture with MMC installed, even though you will have two mpeg-2 codecs installed. I have just found Ulead unstable when other codecs and capture software is installed.

  7. What side do you normally capture at with Ulead? 320x240 Seems pretty small. How do I capture higher without screwing up the aspect?

  8. What do you want do capture?

    VCD = 352x240

    SVCD = 480x480

    DVD = 352x480 or 704(720)x480

    take your pick. If you want the correct aspect ratio and want to play the file on a PC ONLY, then capture at 320x240 or 640x480.
