  1. I recently have gotten back to designing my website (link down bottom, but dont bother nothing new uploaded yet) after a break but have ran into a problem. For the main page I have an image (1024X606) set as the background which is the perfect size for my monitor (1024X768) but I wanted to know how I could get it to show up perfect on other screen sizes (i.e 800X600). Be happy to use DHTML/XML/CSS if needed. Thanks

  2. the way i'd do it would be flash... but that would also make you do your whole site that way...

  3. My monitor screen size is 800x600, and I have no problems seeing your index page.

  4. Do you see the silver/grey bar at the bottom as well or just the top one.
I was thinking of putting some invisible text or picture in the bottom to make it seeable on smaller monitors. Any thoughts?

You best just dump the background. Its a mac based bg that I have and about 10000's other sites use. In fact its used as a template for many CMS sites.

Do something more original. Mac styles are only good for mac sites.
