  3. For anyone that has run into the " not enough storage is available to complete this operation " error within Windows Media Player, I was finally able to fix it for myself.

My error only occured when I played MPEG files that were not MPEG-1 compliant. So, SVCD's or files I grabbed from my TIVO would not work.

To fix the error I downloaded the "SVCD Codec" from http://www.divxmovies.com/software/

When I ran it at first I chose to REMOVE the existing installation. It came up with some script errors and failed to remove the files. I tried to install the codec anyway and it would not let me load the files as it came up with an error stating that I already had them loaded. In my circumstance it said that it could not find Mpeg2Parser.ax in the c:\windows\system32 subdirectory. To get around the error I copied the Mpeg2Parser.ax to the c:\windows\system32 directory, re-ran the removal process and it worked. I then re-ran the exe and chose to install the codec and success!

FYI.. In my efforts to get this working I did load other codecs. Just incase this is a combination issue, here is what I did.
    1. I loaded the NIMO Codec pack, basic options. This can be downloaded from http://www.btinternet.com/~nimosiro/
    2. I re-loaded the Windows Media Codecs. This can be downloaded from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/release.asp?ReleaseID=31921&area=search&ordinal=2

I am running XP Home Edition SP1. I hope this helps.

    Tivo Homer
