The strangest and most frustrating thing has been happening lately. For the past week I've been trying to burn a short film (10 minutes) onto a blank memorex CDR for the past week. I captured/edited the video with Adobe Premiere 6.0, then saved it as an .avi file using a DIVX MPEG-4 compressor setting.

First i converted it to MPEG using TMPGE(whatever its called) and created a bin file with fireburner. Then i tried several methods of getting it on to the CD such as burning the bin file with VCDEasy, burning the mpeg file with VCDEASY and the last thing i did was i burned the bin file with CDRwin. All three times my computer would burn the disc with no errors appearing on the screen(although in VCDEasy i did have the "force driver" setting on). But when the final product came out, it was an unplayable disc. It had the blue burn ring on it, but when i accessed it, it appeared as if there was no file there at all. WINDVD would sometimes make the drive sputter a bit but would never play it. I'm using a SAMSUNG DVD/CD-RW SM 308-B on a 1.4 Ghz Win ME. what's wrong? Am i missing some crucial step?
