    What o.s. is the most stable and compatable with the various tools recommended for creating vcds ? Does XP have advantages over 98SE in this field ?

    XP is not limited to 4gb file limit and is more stable.

    I believe XP has these advantages: No 4GB size limit, DMA enabled automatically, no IRQ conflicts. There are get arounds in other OSs, but It nice to have it from the start. I'm not sure for reliablity. It seems to work for me!
