I have the VCDVault Centropy release of Star Wars Ep 2 and the quality is outstanding however there is a serious flicker problem. I'm going to make it into an SVCD but I need to get rid of the flicker, any ideas??

They probably already did quite a few things to try to clean it up but you could try the deflicker filter for virtualdub. It should be here http://sauron.mordor.net/dgraft/index.html
Let me know if it helps, but I would be suprised if they didn't already use it... Anyways it's a pretty good Telesync IMO and I have never seen one that didn't have noticeable flickering. If you want a perfect picture, go to the cinema again
I have been re-encoding the centropy release and it's a bitch because #1 my player is very very picky when it comes to svcd and fixing the aspect ratio is a bitch, it is way off by default. After I finish my SVCD version of it I am going to make a 2 disc vcd version and will experiment with all the filters I can.
Also I am sure you have heard it before but google is your friend and you can find some more telesync info -
The flicker is present in the TS itself. But to fix it, I found out the Temporal Smoother filter in VirtualDub works like a charm
. Try it and see what happens
