  1. I don't know if it's due to different computer systems or what (I have a pretty fast PowerMac G4), but when I exported my raw video to Quicktime using Motion JPEG A, the results were horrible. Everything was slightly blurry, and any small text in the picture was completely unreadable (before and after burning it to a CDV).

So instead, I exported the raw video to Quicktime using the DV-NTSC option (full quality), which gave me incredible clarity when burned to a CDV.

Also, when I use Quicktime to encode my files to Toast, it drops frames every few seconds. So I use Cleaner, which takes about 7 times as long, but gives me great results.

    Anyone else have similar results???

What is CDV? Do you mean VideoCD? Also, is Cleaner still available only for OS 9?

  3. I'm sorry, I did, indeed, mean to say "video CD" or "VCD." I guess I was thinking of "CDR"s and put the "CD" in front.

As for Cleaner, I don't know if it's out for any other OS, as I use OS9, myself.
