When I add subtitles to a movie in "letterbox" format, the subtitles is on the movie, (witch is fine if I am converting to "fullscreen")
But is there a way to add Subtitles the to buttom "black area" in letterbox format ?
I am using VirtualDub and TMPGEnc, just like described on this site !

Check the order of the VD filters. If the subtitle filter is the last one, the subs should appear on the buttom border. Also you should be able to adjust the position of the subs. What kind of subs we are talking about and which filter do you use?

I am only using the Subtitles filter, and it is Virtual Subtitles Filter.
Do I need to convert (using another filter) the movie in VirtualDub, to be a "Letterbox" format before I encode it in TMPGEnc ?
The Movie is in Divx format !
