    ok..this might be a stupid question but anyways....
    when i watch my vcd's on my dvd player with my normal (non-widescreen tv) i get the black bars on the top bottom..ofcourse...
    but if i had a widescreen tv those would be gone ...right?

    No, movies that are in 2.35:1 or wider will have black borders

    i'm not shore about how wide my movies are...
    but say pal... or ntsc.....that measn the reulutions 352x240/288----
    are those to wide then?
    or how do i know?
