  1. I have created a home video using videowave 4.0 and produce mpeg2 w/ 720x480 resolution. The file runs on my ATI file player and looks great but when I was burning it as SVCD using Nero 5.5.8 it prompts me with a Nero complain about the standard saying incorrect settings.

    -Can you suggest any programs I could use to convert my mpeg2 file compliant to SVCD standards.

    -And also when you burn SVCD, what files are needed to make it play automatically.

  2. To make svcd standard use tmpgenc and select svcd template also need mpeg2 plugin
    <-----look at Tools on the left
    Then burn in Nero

    just turn off the standard compliance and you should be ok i have done many svcd's this way. just make sure you dont encode it at too high a bit rate or you will get framejitter.
