I have created a home video using videowave 4.0 and produce mpeg2 w/ 720x480 resolution. The file runs on my ATI file player and looks great but when I was burning it as SVCD using Nero 5.5.8 it prompts me with a Nero complain about the standard saying incorrect settings.
-Can you suggest any programs I could use to convert my mpeg2 file compliant to SVCD standards.
-And also when you burn SVCD, what files are needed to make it play automatically.
Thank you in advance for your help.

To make svcd standard use tmpgenc and select svcd template also need mpeg2 plugin
<-----look at Tools on the left
Then burn in Nero -
just turn off the standard compliance and you should be ok i have done many svcd's this way. just make sure you dont encode it at too high a bit rate or you will get framejitter.
