hi there,
i have XP rc2 and samsung sm 304b. i read in the windows hardware compatible list that SM 304b is fully compatible. however, when i go to media player, and try to open the .dat file, it gives me an error: IO Device Error. what the hell?
i tried to play with powerDVD v3 and it says that it couldnt play the disk because it may have been scratched which is not true.
i had no problems with win98. any idea? this has been driving me crazy. i remember someone saying about a IOSub directory in Windows/System. i dont have that directory.
this problem has even taked away my sleep, i swear.
could someone email me those files that are needed to play VCD? perhaps that might help.
many thanks in advance,
mrbig_mrbig@yahoo.com
