When I use VirtualDub and load up my movie to split, it comes up with this error that says "VirtualDub has detected an improper VBR audio enconding in the source AVI file and will rewrite the audio header with standard CBR values during processing for better compatibility. This may introduce up to 361415 ms of skew from the video stream. If this is unacceptable, decompress the *entire* audio stream to an uncompressed WAV file and recompress with a constant bitrate encoder. (bitrate: 93.4 ± 28.3 kbps)"
I have no clue what I need to do here. I tried going ahead anyways, but then it cuts out a lot of sound and unsyncs the rest from the movie. HELP!!!

If you ignore and encode as is you will get that anoying audio out of sync that is common with files from divx and others.
I use Virtdub to strip off a uncompressed wav file then use that wav as the audio source when encoding. -
Start VirDub and load the avi file...if you get the message just say ok or whatever....then click on audio menu and make sure it says direct stream copy and avi audio....then under main file menu click on save wav...it will ask where and what to call it.....when its done use that wav as audio source in encoder.
