I have downloaded a series of bin files (with corresponding cue files) that are in SVCD format.
About 6 months ago I did this with different bin files (I believe the bin files were VCD format, so what I did was fairly easy). I converted the BIN/CUE files to mpg using VCDgear, converted the mpg to mpg with VCDgear allowing TMPGEnc to read the file and encoded the mpg in Video CD for NTSC - MPEG-1, 352x240, 29.97fps with TMPGEnc.
When I do this with these bin files there are many problems. In VCDgear I have to disable it from writing separate tracks and cannot have any options checked. It then converts the bin/cue files to mpg. This mpg format is not supported by TMPGEnc, so I used the mpg -> mpg option in VCDgear and tried again. Same error.
My only assumption is that these BIN/CUE files are SVCD. If so, what do I need to do to convert them (or the extracted mpg) to VCD so that I may burn it and watch it with my standalone (which only plays VCD)?
