Theres a how to guide on the left here...but
essentialy you take the jpg and a wav file of music or silience for that matter.... You have to label them 5second.wav.. 10sec.wav then use TMPG to encode to mpeg1... using jpg as source for video and wav as source for audio...the mpg will be that one pic displayed as long as your wav lasts...
There are other aplications that work better and easier.....just read though guides on left

  3. Most players will not read raw jpegs on a disk. A new breed of players, some from Apex, will but I agree with above - just take an authoring or encoding program and make a mpeg with some wav file.

You might look at ulead dvd pictureshow - trial available at ulead.com.
Panasonic DMR-ES45VS, keep those discs a burnin'

Ulead's PictureShow is nice to play VCD2.0 with a DVD player (menues and all).

Also nice to view simple picture files on a computer with the below product (full screen slideshows):
Whenever people talk about slideshow capable DVD players be sure to tell them of this free & small executable file to through onto disk before they burn it. It will give the disk the ability to be a slideshow on a computer to (that's right for free). A way cool program that also lets you change lot's of default setting also.!!!! I recommend coping a couple of other helpful files over to to assure it works on all operating systems (read the readme file).

FYI, a great and simple slideshow software that you can use on your computer or burn on a CD disk is (I found on zdnet.com, it's free):

LPJ-Slideshow 1.6.3 The idea of this program is, to create a Slideshow, where users don't have to install anything. For example, if you want to create a CD with your own images, then this program will help do the job in about 5 minutes.

  5. Just use an editing program to assembly the pictures and then export to MPEG and burn like a regular VCD. I use Adobe Premiere 6....
