i have just used smart ripper to extract the film, i set the max vob size to 9000mb so i would only have one vob file, so now i am left with one video vob about 4gb and an audio ac3 file about 300mb. on the computer the video file works fine(except it is not showing the true time through out the film), the sound file works fine. so now what do i do? is it a matter of dropping the two files onto a dvdr and burning, or do i have to do somthing else?

if i understand you correct you now have an m2v file and an ac3 file. You have to rename them to the same name for example video.m2v and video.ac3 then import them into spuce up and then burn them. a very detailed guide with pictures and stuff can be found at http:\\www.dvd2dvdr.com Hope this helps.
