After reading the suggestions elsewhere on this site, I use my Dazzle DVCII card to capture video at DVD quality at the highest CBR bitrate into a seperate audio and video file (.mpa and .m2v) with the supplied MovieStar software.
I then use the Standard VCD template that comes with TMPGenc to encode down to VCD. The audio and video are not synced in the resulting .mpg files.
I've also read that various audio and/or video codecs can cause this to happen somehow. I can't, however, figure out how to ensure that TMPGenc is using the correct codecs. Can anybody point me in the right direction?
Thanks!
