Has any one out there got one of these cards and had any success capturing above the standard pal 352*288 resoloution. If so can you let me know how, Im pulling mu frigging hair out with this card. Im using VDub version 1.4.10 and keep getting crashes above that resouloution setting. The card specs says it will capture upto 720*576. Pig shit in my opion.

TasDavo2,
I too bought one of these <cough> TV/capture cards
to test it. Waste of money. I had to tweak the hell out of everything
just to get 352x288 at 25fps with Picvideo MJPEG as the
codec & iuLAB's iuVCR as the capture s/ware. Use it
to watch TV only! -
I really have to agree with offline on this one!!!
I too bought one of these to test out as a secondary low-cost capture card - it sucked as a TV card and I had so many problems with capture even with iuLAB's iuVCR software.
However I have found the card and box when combined together form the perfect model aircraft stand
and there it rests. Now I have a working BT878 card I now use for TV and backup capture. It works quite well...
