  1. If i'll burn my MPEG2 file to a SVCD (with Nero), but the video file's resolution is lower than the normal (320*240 instead of 480*480).
    So my question is if i'll burn it to a cd, will the DVD\SVCD player (stand alone player) will recognize it and play it?

    Take a CD-RW and check it out.
    Nero will burn that file to XSVCD.
    Some dvd players play it, some do not. How could I say what YOUR player can play? You have to test it by yourself.

    You can run it through TMPGE to convert to SVCD format. The resulting quality is obviously not as good as 480x480 but may look ok.

    I've tested 720x576 XSVCD and everything works for me. Black bars are smaller on my 4:3 TV. I need to test it on a 16:9 TV to see how it looks.
