I have a ripped DVD stored on my hard drive ready for encoding. When I opened the .ifo file in FlasKMPEG like other DVD's, it displays the first frame that it will encode in the main FlasKMPEG dialog like usual. However with this one movie, the frame it displays (and then does encode because I tested it) is not the beginning, but about 20 minutes into the movie, like it skipped the first .vob file.
I thought that I could take a look at the .ifo file and see it needs to be fixed. So, I downloaded ifoedit from the tools section here that looks like it's the only thing that could help me, but it is way too complicated for me.
Does anyone have a plan of attack to persuade FlasKMPEG to read the movie in normally?
Thanks, Nate.
