  1. I need to change the audio track from an interleaved MPEG-1 file, therefore keeping the old video track. Since it is incorporated within the .mpg file and I donīt have the original footage to re-edit it, how can I do it? I wanted to avoid re-encoding the file, since all I need to do is change the audio. I guess there may be a shareware somewhere that does it, but I donīt know which would be it. My apologies if this question has already been answered. Any help will be appreciated.

  2. You can use tmpgenc to de-multiplex (split the audio and video) the mpeg file. Then you can multiplex the new audio and the video only file using tmpgenc or bbmpeg or whatever program you want to use.

  3. Thank you so much, youīre a life saver. Actually I didnīt do the whole process, just specified the 2 different sources (video and audio) and started the creation of a new MPEG-1. Perhaps this is the simplification of the process you mentioned, so in the end it is the same thing.

Anyway, it worked beautifully so thanks again for the tip. It would have taken me quite some time to get there by myself.
