    I'm new to conversion. I bought a Snazzi Video capture card recently. I have lots of karoake laserdisk and would like to tranfer them to VCD but
    don't know how???. Anyone there can help?

    Connect Laserdisc video out to snazzi video in. Same for audio out to audio in.

    Load up the snazzi video capture program. Set parameters for MPEG1 capture, 352x240, 29.97 fps, 1150 kb/s (US) then press record. Press play button on LD.

    When you have the MPEG file, look at the Author section of this site on getting the MPEG into VCD format.

    If you capture card captures only AVI, look at the Convert section on converting an AVI to MPEG1.

    Thanks a lot Kitty.. Next question for you. How do I get both the analog and digital sound from the laserdisk so that I can switch on and off!!
