  1. When i follow the All-In-One DivX to VCD guide to making DivX to VCD each rip when played on a DVD player doesnt come out clear. Every 4 to 5 seconds blocks show up either in remote locations or a bunch of colored blocks flash on the screen. I did some research on the ripping and converting process and couldnt find much on this subject except one lil section in the tmpge section called sharpen edge, which i checkmarked the box. Has anyone else had this problem or know of a way to correct this issue? Thanks

  2. make sure you dont have the angel potion codec installed. its notorious for ******* up divx to vcd encodes.

  3. thanks for the advice. i took out angel potion, and the picture comes out clearer with not as much interference, but i still get those lil boxes any other advice?

  4. i had the same problem but got informed that this is part of the mpeg2 codec. nothing you can do but turn up the bitrate or use SVCD instead. it usually comes up in darker parts of the movie right?

  6. see that's the weird thing. it happens to me on both powerdvd on my computer and my apex dvd player. many people recommend turning down the burning speed when playing it on an external dvd player like 4x since some dvd players can't handle the speed. don't know if its true or not but you can try it and see if it helps you. i know i have and it hasn't made a difference.
