    hiyas ~
    i finally have a chance of upgrading my comp... (currently a cel 500 T_T)
    .... but due to a tight budget.... i have a choice to make...
    i need whichever that's gonna give me faster encoding... :P

    choice 1) xp1900+ and 256 of DDR266
    choice 2) xp1800+ and 256 of DDR333

    ... i'm gonna get a gigabyte mobo that supports DDR333....
    so... can anyone help me make a good choice on this?? ^^;

    I would proboly go with the 1.9 equal to about a p4 2.2 and i belioeve www.tigerdirect.com is having a special on ddr right now its suppose to be really cheap.
    This is proboly a ice cream induced thought so i can not take no control for the above statment. :P
