ok, i've got a little problem which really drives me crazy..
my source movie is a divx and has a aspet ratio of 640x272
i want to resize this movie in vdub and put the subs in the black bar under it and then frameserve it to tmpgenc... so this is what i've done:
resize settings vdub:
new width: 480
new height: 204
filter mode... dont know that.. mabye somebody can explain me that too..
expand frame:
frame width: 480
frame height: 372 (pal movie so 576-204=372)
the aspect ratio of the movie after converting it for a few minutes is just right.. and the subs come in the black bar underneath it.. but tmpgenc gives me little black bars on the left side and the right side of the screen.. eventhough i'm using the right pal template..
can somebody please tell me what i do wrong?? and if i want to frameserve it to cce2.5, which option for the aspect ratio do i need then.. 4:3??
thnx
