Is there a way to open a mpeg file, made with the WinTV PVR PCI, in VirtualDub ? I think I read somewhere that the WinTV PVR makes mpeg files in a somewhat different format. However, although I am trying to learn as much as possible, it is all still very confusing for me.Anyway I cannot open these files in VirtualDub. What should I do, or is it impossible to use VitualDub with these files ?
TIA

well I can..
only difference between a mpeg1/2 captured by wintv PVR
and a standard one is that its not muxed as a vcd/svcd/dvd.
You have to mux it to have nero accept it etc
try that before you use vdub -
vdub does not do mpeg2.
try encoding in mpeg1, and you will have success.
cheers,
kyle
