i just got two large avi files of lotr from a friend, i want to convert them and watch them on dvd player. the frame size is 640X272 and i want to convert the file to an SVCD, in NTSC film mode with TMPG-Enc. I can play the original files on my pc, but when i open them with virtual dub or TMPG-Enc starts enconding, the screen is black and there is no audio. i tried enconding anyway, and my dvd player plays it but the screen is black and no audio. I used the divx-svcd conversion guide on this site and i think i did everything right. do i need some other codecs? help!!!!!
