make a VCD? Do you use CDR's and or CDRW's? Is there such a thing as blank VCD's that you are supposed to use? Sorry for the infantile question, but I couldn't find any answers.

VCDs are just CDs, nothing special. All a VCD is, is a type of CD, ie Audio; Data; Boot; etc. Normal balnk CDRs should work. If you are going to use the VCD in a DVD player make sure it actually supports VCDs (When I started that took me a long time to figure out.) Usually VCD/DVD players do not like CDRW. Hope this helps!

neither one of my DVD will play a cd-r. its cd-rw or nothing. the best way too find out if yours will is too put a blank cd-r or cd-rw into your DVD player, if it wont play it will say "no disc found"

or look above on the main page at the DVD Players link. Enter your player and find the spec's if you want the hard spec's
