    Which quality is better? VCD or VHS?
    i found that copy video to VHS from DV is a lot better than make Mpeg1 (VCD) from DV..

    sure,if you copy from a digital camera to a vhs,the vcd I think is ideal to copy dvd movies

    Unless you own an expensive Mpeg encoder, and I am not talking about an AIW card or just using software compression. VHS tends to be higher then VCD 2.0 white book standards. But VCD is still pretty good quality.
