    Sorry if this sound stupid, but how do you install codecs and filters in TMPGEnc 2.54a? Also, I have noticed mentioning of an extra folder in TMPGEnc for creating your own templates, I can't seem to find folder and don't know where to save my own templates.

    Again, sorry if this sound stupid but I'm still new to all of this and it's a minefield of info.

    Search Comp PM
    open any template......the click Load > Extra > Unlock.
    Go back to template and make any changes you want then click on save.

    Just download codecs and they will be saved in a folder just like any other file ready to be used .No installing required.
