I'm having this problem where after I rip (using the most up to date version of Smart Ripper) I go to preview the movie in dvd2avi and it has some very odd horizontal hold problems, what I mean by that the picture keeps slipping on the horizontal axis as I watch it (and this only happens wile there is moving picture.) I was thinking initialy that the problem was with some of the options I had selected in Smart Ripper, but upon closer inspection I saw that the options I had selected were the same as those described in Sefy's Classical Newbie Ripping Guide (found on this page.) Then I thought it to be problems with my dvd drive (it only rips at 2-2.7x.)
This is my standing theory, I would appreciate any help that could be given.
