  1. I am trying to convert 44k audio from a SVCD format to 48K DVD format, but whenever i try to open the .mpg format i get an error that says "MPEG Import Filter: pack synchronization error" and the file wont open. I also tried to use tmpenc and it opens the file as the video source, but it says the file is unsupported when i try to use it as the audio source. any ideas??
    Thanks,

  2. you need to seperate the audio track from the video track when doing this in tmpgenc. get an audio decompressor that will convert the 44khz track to it's normal RAW .wav format and then tmpgenc should have no problems....i don't remember the name of the audio decompressor off the top of my head, sorry
