  1. I've been reading thru several forums the last couple of days and I can't find anyone w/similar problems...so it must be me. Anyways, I've been trying to split Gladiator onto 2 dvdr's.
    My steps...

    1. Smartrip all to hard drive(everything).
    2. Splitting movie with ifoedit with it's default split suggestion.
    3. Adjusted number of chapters within video_ts.ifo file.
    4. Copied all titlesets to each folder
    5. Checked each folder(would be dvd) is under 4.6gig
    5. Made region free.
    6. Removed user P-up's/ also tried leaving them in.

at this point I test the results by opening video_ts.ifo and I get the opening intro to play, when it finishes it goes to black screen (says chp. 2)and nothing happens. I try the other ifo files and the same thing happens. Its like the pointers or something in the vob's are not accurate and the movie doesn't know where to go next. The steps I described above are from doom9.org's guide to dvd9 to dvd5 x 2. I'm stumped any guidence or suggestions would be appreciated...Or if there is another way that may work. Thanx
as you can guess I'm new to this, I've tried researching this before making a post, but I can't find anyone with the same problem.

After al your steps you should get VTS sectors for each disk.Have you tried this ? It is a must and it is in Derrow's guide.

  3. Thanks for the response guys!

I have applied the get vts vectors and the same problem persist. Just to clarify my understanding on the get gts vectors, this is only needed for topset players to work, right? It shouldn't effect playing from the hard drive?

apollo, I'll try the guide you supplied and re-post thanks again. Really wanting to get this to work.
