  1. Does anyone know of the Panasonic SA-HT70 is compatible with VCD's or SVCD's? The product is no longer on Panasonic's website and it barely even exists on the web, I cant even find specs about the product anywhere. I burned the new Spiderman Centropy release as a .dat file and it runs fine on my computers dvd, however, when I put it into the TV's dvd player only the sound plays and the sound skips a lot. Please help, thanks.

  2. Ok,
I found the manual and I am still confused because it does not say if it supports or does not support a VCD take a look:

Supported: dvd video, dvd video, compat disc digital video, compact disc digital video... said those twice each with a different form of the logo so i dont know what that means

Not Supported: dvd with an unsuitable region number, dvd-audio, pal system discs, dvd-rom, dvd-r, dvd-ram, -rw, dvd-rw, divx, cd-rom, vsd, cdv, cd-g, cvd, sacd, svcd, photo cd

  3. Here are some usefull places to find reviews, and opinions on almost everything:
www.cnet.com (go to reviews, the DVD players)
www.audioreview.com (go to reviews, then DVD players)
www.epinions.com (got to electronics, then DVD players)
