trouble with playback

I created my first VCD. When I played it back in my DVD player something was wrong with the resolution. The video seemed somewhat narrow and long. Everyone's faces seemed too long. When I processed the avi file I used the output screen size of 351X240 at full screen. The program I used for this was TMEPnc. Is there something that I should change. Thanks for any ideas.

yes ...under settings, advanced, clip frame,arrange setting....


there you can choose your size....usually center(keep aspect ratio)


I usually pick center(custom size)...and resize myself
