    When creating a VCD with JPG files, Nero limits my menu to 99 items. Does anyone know how to defeat this limit or can you recommend another program that allows all of the files on the disk to be included in the menu?

    make stills with VCDEasy, and author them all.

    I now have VCDeasy, but it seems to only allow .mpg files to be added to a compilation. I'm interested copying .jpg files to create a slideshow. Is this the right tool? Is there a better choice?

    you can make the mpg stills in VCDEasy.
    click the tools button to the left ther are a still tool there,
    its not to hard to use.

    Ulead DVD picture show will do just what you want, With music, menu s , and allows up to 1900 jpgs on one cd. Demo is available on there page.
