HELP!sound recording problem with minidisc and DVD player

it' s my first topic here!! yahoooo!


So I want to record cd,svcd, vcd or mp3 cd sound to my minidisc recorder with my dvd player (by the optical output).

I can only record a music cd but not the others!!!!

when I play cd,svcd, vcd or mp3 cd , my minidisc display "NO COPY" and it doesn't record of course.

"No copy" means that my dvd player sends a copybit (SCMS) in the datas to avoid copy.

What could I do now to record my favorite songs???

If the recorder is sent an infringement block through the optical port, why not use the coaxil input (if you have both output/input).
Otherwise just use the RCA connections, this will not pick up the block.
