Hi, I have a copy of Star Wars 2 on SVCD ( 3 CD's) and it's 797MB on each CD. The CD's it's on are 700MB/80 mins, how can this be????

The file size is saying 797mb and the cd they are on is 700mb ???????

When i try to copy the files my PC says the cd i have has 702mb free and it won't let me copy the files. I am using windows XP to copy the CD's.

Can anyone help me, I also went out an brought some 800mb/90min CD-R's thinking that the files would easily fit but I am still getting the same message - 702mb free on CD ?????

I am new to copying and need some help. Many Thanks

  2. R U trying to burn it straight to the cd!! if U R well U R doing wrong! U have to burn it as a vcd droping your mpeg into the specified box!! it aint like burning a normal cd. the mpg is either 79 mins if a vcd or if U have the 3 disk svcd this is 45 mins.
