    What's the norm on how long it should take to convert a movie to VCD. Is this normally a 2-4 hour process.

    Converting, like encoding is dependent on your CPU and filters used. FAster the CPU the faster it will convert.

    Tbear is right

    but please don't complain about the speed cause it takes me 8-12 hours on my blazibing fast 400 mhz computer or should I say my SS computer (super slow)

    heh. I got a 1333 athlon.


    I just encoded a dvd rip to 2 cd-r's....31 hours!!!!


    Of course I used filters and resized and stuff
