I`m capturing Video in Mpeg2 format using MMC7.6.
I am capturing at 720x576 PAL, 15Mb/s, I-Frame only, Motion Estimation at 100 with no frame drops.
I then run the video through TMPG to reduce the bitrate to DVD Bitrates to eventually burn to DVD-R.
I just need to know if it is best to use Visual Masking and Deinterlaceing or just one or the other or neither etc..

I have found Visual Masking to make things blurred (or softer if you wish). I always selected Deinterlace.
I captured at similar specs to yours until recently - now I just go with ATI's UYVY native AVI format. It's lossless and gives me better quality source file to work with./\/\ars /\/\ayhem
