I am going to be ripping a PAL DVD, changing the frame rate to 23.976 then burning to a DVD+RW. So after the change, I will need to make the audio track longer by about 4% and then remux and I have a couple of questions.

    1) I will need to get the 5.1 channels as seperate WAV files so that I can stretch them. I know I can use Sonic Foundry Soft Encode to encode the 6 wav files back to and .ac3 file, but how do I get the 6 seperate WAV files from the original .ac3 so that I can stretch them? Does DVD2AVI do this? Also, is there any other tool that can encode to .ac3? I don't have Soft Encode.

    2) Will TMPGEnc remux the video file and the .ac3 file? If not, what tool can do this?

    Thanks,
