  1. hello, im trying to convert an AVI to VCD. everytime i start tmpge it will encode it to 98% then either crash or cause an error. ive tried the virtualdub route and checked it for errors but it came up clean.

    Any Ideas?

    Is the problem with the one AVI or with any AVI?

    You could frameserve the avi in to TMPEnc
    get the TMPEnc plug in her http://www.christian-behrens.de/video/teil4_4.htm look fore tmpgenc-readavs.zip
    it makes TMPEnc able to import AVISynth and VirtualDub frameserved files
