    Does any one know how to convert wmv files to avi or mpg (or any other format that can be converted to avi or mpg)? The CONVERT section says that VirtualDub can do this but when I try this, I get the message that Microsoft is not allowing this anymore (or something to that effect).

    Please help me!!!

    .wmv format is Bill Gates' property but TMPGEnc should do the trick.
