  1. i am fairly new to this. but i have the basics down, yet something went wrong. I have a license with RealServer, and I want to stream live video using Real Producer. My sony DCR-TRV17 is connected to my computer with a Western Digital NEC Compliant I-EEE1394 capture card. The camera is recognized by my computer running winxp, and the camera itself is set to vcr playback mode.

now, i need to know what happened in real producer, i set up a new session for a live broadcast, with these fields filled in as:

Real server: rtsp://addressort (is that the right url for my real server? i am not sure)

Server Port: 4040 (this was set by default, do i need to change it to anything else?)

audio capture device is my sound blaster live, and video capture device is Microsoft WDM Image Capture, then i click ok, and get a prompt that says "Warning, your video capture device is not configured to generate YUV data." and then it tells me some ideas to change settings. I clicked OK anyway, and the program resized itself to fit my cameras picture size (720x480) I click start (to start recording) the program idles for about a minute then it rezises itself back to the orginal size of the window, and a pompt comes up saying "the video capture device is unsupported."

what am i doing wrong? do i need to change settings somehow? If anyone needs more information, ill do my best. Thanks a lot.
