is there anyway to convert a powerpoint presentation to mpeg, and then to a vcd? i want to be able to watch it on a dvd player. thanks

I'm not familiar with the capabilities of Powerpoint for Windows, but in Powerpoint X for Mac OS X, you can export Powerpoint presentations to a Quicktime file, which can then be dropped on Toast to make a VCD. If you have access to a Mac, thats one way you can get it done.

Under Save As, choose exporting each slide as a BMP or JPG and assemble these using your favorite video editor like Ulead or Premiere.
I tried using video out from the computer just running the slide show but the bandwidth just wasn't there to reproduce text.
