Germany vs. South Korea at 20:30 tomorrow in Seoul.
Hm... Germany has been my favorite team since 1990.

One South Korean got it from Seoul Broadcasting Station (SBS) HDTV. So far, I have seen no definitive evidence.
I've read that only Europeans will be the referees for semifinals and finals from now on. Whether that is true or not, I estimate 90% of the people concerned about Worldcup these days are non-Europeans. -
I've seen that clip of the Spanish goal several times and the ball does not go over the goalline before it is crossed into the box
It was a poor decision by the linesman. I've seen bad decisions before, but that's why it's important to "keep at it". -
i've checked that link ken, and all i can say is that i wish i knew some korean!
The eyes of the world will be on the referees and linesmen for the semi finals. i hope they make no bad decisions for the sake of the sport and the tournament! -
Boss
Here's an English version of the site which Kenny provided. ( However, I cannot guarantee the quality of translation)

it got me thinking. The problem with the irish/english f.a.'s and fifa is that they are run by old lawyers and doctors. who only care about money. what do they know about the beautiful game? if these organisations had more ex-players in their ranks, they would be more in touch and make decisions for the good of the game and not just see it as a business. does anyone agree? -
Boss,
I couldn't agree with you more. I think the worst place by far is South America; corruption out there is like a terminal cancer. -
It must be, I got there and was able to review the play.

Could someone cut & paste it here, or give a summary of what the article says. Most grateful if you can

Ember it basicaly say the goals in the spain vs korea match were rightfully not accepted and it goes on giving pseudo scientific explanations which is the guy making the site had any knowlegde of physics he would have shut up about one of them... The other he might be right but i can also choose the pitures i see to tell the story i want
btw i know the page wouldn't open for me on netscape so i used explorer -
At least we're eliminating possibilities: My ISP on Freeserve - ADSL. Anyone else having problems with them?

Best match since a long time. Miracle, miracle, what a miracle. Didi, Michael, I kiss your feets. Olli, I kiss your hands. FINAL, a dream came true. I am going maaaaad.

Well - it was an awful game: S Korea did not press and Germany got lucky again. I think Germany will suffer at the hands of the "big guns" Brazil. It is ironic that as the top teams have been eliminating each other or failing through poor linesman decisions, Germany have coasted through.

At last! Something predictable happened in the World Cup! The quintessential 1-0 German victory has bought the World Cup back to reality. I feel sorry for Ballack for not being able to play in the final, but at least he has the knowledge that he was the one that put them there in the first place.
I predicted that the Germans would be too clinical for S.Korea and beat them 1-0 (I did actually half expect that I would be eating my words after South Korea beat them 4-3 or something... but no), I wonder if my prediction for the final will turn out correct as well...?
PS
Ember, I use Freeserve also and I too am unable to view the page. You may be able to view it though a proxy if you can find one. -
a great game truman? well, i suppose it was'nt too bad for a germany game!
ember, i would'nt say germany were lucky, they were the better side. and d4n13l, i feel sorry for ballack as well.
south korea, you've had a great world cup adventure that we'll never forget.
thanks for the memories! -
I'm pulling for germany. I've really enjoyed watching them play.
