    Just wondering? How many lines are on a TV?? I should know this one.

    I believe NTSC has 525 lines, while PAL has 625 lines.

    PAL has 625 lines 576 of those lines are visible @ 25fps. NTSC has 525 lines 480 of those lines are visible @ 29.970 fps.
