  1. I can't capture audio when using Virtual Dub (1.4.9). The video is Ok, > 1% frames dropped, but no audio, even with capture audio enabled in the settings. The information window indicates that audio is being captured, but the finised AVI has no sound. Every thing works and is connected correctly because other capture programs caprure video and audio. The only reason I'm using Virtual Dub is because it's free and can overcome the FAT32 file size limitations. Please help if you can, cause I'm about ready to lose it.

Is there any sound coming through before and during your capture?

If yes, then I'm as stuck as you are

If no, try going into capture mode then pull-down menu video->source. Along with check buttons for "Tuner", "Composite Video" etc. there is a check box marked "Mute Audio". You need to uncheck it if its checked.

    Good luck!
