    ok a friend of mine has just lent me these chinese vcds, which are original HK movies on vcd.

    one disc vcds, originals, not illegal or anything, so anyway i put it in my computer, try to run it, it automatically opens cdaudio player.

    so i try start ->run->d:
    this is what i get from that
    3 files come up; Track01, Track02, both of which are .cda extentions

    so i try downloading a quick vcd player from kazaa and running it, but no that doesnt work, try downloading powerDVD and running it, it gives me an error message and says "this error message does not exist"!

    its a toughy, i cant seem to work it out, nothing works!

    my friend that i borrowed these off has no problems running them in a dvd player but i want to run them on my computer because my bro has the dvd player at his place and i gave him the dvds!

    well anyways. anyone know what type of vcd this is? it says vcd on the front.

    the movies are "the bodyguard from beijing" and "tai chi master" if that helps anyone.

    any help would be MUCH appreciated i have been trying for hours to run them!

    p.s. when i tried desktop->my computer then highlighting d: it gave me a size of 844mb

    HELP! PLEASE! HELP! lol thnx, this site 0WnZz

  2. It is probably a VCD without the logical filesystem...

    You could try extracting a CUE/BIN image of the VCD then using either VCDXRIP on it (part of VCDImager -- you can use the VCDEasy GUI if you don't like command console tools) or VCDGear to extract the MPEG.

    Regards.
